Cedar Hollow Dorset

Seasons & Prices

What a stay costs, when the seasons fall, and the handful of rules that make the woodland work — all on one page, with no small print elsewhere.

All three treehouses are priced per stay rather than per head, because they all sleep exactly two. Prices include everything the treehouse needs to work: logs, kindling and firelighters, linen and towels, and the pantry basics.

The Woodsman’s Treehouse

The Woodsman’s is priced the same all year round. There is no low season and no peak — the oak looks after that itself.

Per stay, including all logs, linen and pantry basics.

Dazzle & Pinwheel

Dazzle and Pinwheel share a price, and move through four seasons across the year. Low is deep winter and the quieter weeks of autumn; peak covers the school holidays, the bank holidays and the fortnight the bluebells are out.

Per stay, either treehouse. Weekend rates cover three nights, Friday to Monday.

How the week works

Changeover days are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. That gives three shapes of stay:

  • Monday 4pm to Wednesday 10am — two weeknights
  • Wednesday 4pm to Friday 10am — two weeknights
  • Friday 4pm to Monday 10am — the weekend, three nights

Weekends are priced and booked as three nights. You are welcome to leave on the Sunday evening if you need to be somewhere on Monday morning — the rate is the same either way.

Longer stays simply combine these blocks, which is why four, five and seven nights appear in the tables and three midweek nights does not.

Paying

If you book more than 60 days ahead, a 25% deposit holds the treehouse and the balance falls due 60 days before you arrive. Inside 60 days, the stay is paid in full at the time of booking.

Changing or cancelling

If we have to close and cannot host you, your booking moves to another date at no cost to you.

If you cancel while we are open, we refund what you have paid less 15%, provided we are able to re-let the dates. If the dates do not re-let, we cannot refund them — which is why we recommend taking cancellation insurance when you book. It is inexpensive, and the woods are two hours from most places.

Prices

Rates on this page are correct at the time of publication and quoted in pounds sterling, per stay, for two adults. The price you are shown at the moment of booking is the one that applies.
